OM SERIES FEATURES & BENEFITS

IECEx/ATEX models available, making the product safe to use in flammable liquid applications

High accuracy and repeatability, measures every drop and saves waste in your process

No requirement for flow conditioning (straight pipe runs) gives a simple and inexpensive installation

Extremely versatile design accurately measures high and low viscosity fluids maing them perfect for measuring the transfer of thick or non-conductive liquids.

Sizes & Flowrates

The FLOMECĀ® Medium Capacity OM-Series Oval Gear meters are well suited to precise measurement of fuels, oils, solvents, alcohols, mildly aggressive chemicals, and various other clean industrial liquids. Flow rates from 1L/min to 450L/min, combined with low pressure drop, weights and measures (A/NZ only) and various hazardous area certifications make the medium capacity OM-Series meters well suited to almost any liquid transfer or dispensing application whether pumped or gravity-fed.

Typical applications include bulk transfer of:

  • Diesel fuel
  • Petrol (gasoline) with or without ethanol content
  • Biofuels
  • Kerosene
  • Glycols / Anti-Freeze
  • Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF / Adblue)
  • Lubricating oils and greases
  • Edible oils
  • Solvents
  • Resins and adhesives
  • Fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

There is no standard recommendation. It will depend on how often it is used, the criticality of the measurement, and how much you are willing to spend on keeping the instrument in calibration. The common best practice approach is to choose a nominal re-calibration period and then check the re-calibration against the original calibration report to see how much it has drifted during that period. If it has changed more than what deems acceptable, you may shorten the frequency. If the change is a lot less, you may choose to extend it.
